It is that time of the year again. December has come and with it all the joys and stresses of Christmas. But what does Christmas mean to us in business? Downtime in sales potentially, lots of staff leave to juggle, and all whilst trying to fit in the important stuff for your own family – gift buying, planning, school concerts and carols in the park and don’t forget to look oh so pretty and festive!
I believe philanthropy and being a responsible corporate citizen is the obligation of all successful businesses. My business is a B1G1 partner, donating for every single settled loan we write! Our Vendors love being apart of the global giving impact and just by doing business with Loanezi they are also a business for good in this world. We have thus far provided 175 days shelter, 225 days of education, 45 square meters rainforest protection in Australia, 150 days business training, 76 pairs of glasses, 2000 meals and 20 birthday gifts for orphans globally… plus more.
As I reflect on the year 2017, the challenges, victories and immense hard work from me and my team, I was overwhelmed with the desire to bless back in a big way. Water is the driving force of all life on earth, and today it is estimated that over 49% of rural people still do not have easy access to water or good sanitation. How unthinkable is that for us here in beautifully blessed Australia! So with the help of our lender partner Flexi Group, Loanezi bought a water well for a village in Ethiopia who desperately needed it. This water well is due to be installed in February 2018 and it is estimated to have over 780,000 impacts in its lifetime! Wow, how excited we are to have been in a position to do this wonderful giving deed this year as our Christmas gift of gratitude to all who do business with us.
