I am heading to the Better Business Summit in Brisbane today, this is promising to be one of those days that can change the way I do business. I always love new ideas, other people’s success stories and, I suppose for lack of a better word mentoring myself on what has already been proven. This Summit agenda is jam packed day with a plethora of some of the biggest achievers in industry.
This will be followed with the Gala night, where I will be able to rub shoulders with the same people I have been admiring from afar, more to follow.
The summit is one of the top sales conferences of the year and the agenda is exciting. It has been wonderfully tailored to help inspire Brokers with loads of outstanding presenters from all walks of life and industry.
I have always been a huge admirer of Michelle Bridges and her commitment to helping drive inner change on The Biggest Loser show. Her strength and determination to helping people is nothing short of amazing. She is also a remarkable entrepreneur and has built an enormous empire with her online strategies, Big W activewear, books and media attention. She is a tribute to female entrepreneurship, and one of the speakers of the day. I can’t wait to tell you my take on that down the track.
I’m looking forward to an inspirational day and a fun night with my Mum, who is my special plus one. She has always been the head cheerleader in my journey through life, and I know she will make ample noise if I do happen to need a cheer squad. I am humbled to have even been nominated as a finalist in the Rising Star category of the Business awards effectively seven months after I launched Loanezi. Even just the nomination alone has energised me and filled me with pride.
